How can I restore connection between Big Fish game manager and my computer? - Answered by a verified Tech Support Specialist. I can not see big fish game manager and can not play games. The Expert answered my Mac question and was patient. He answered in a thorough and timely manner, keeping the response on a level that could understand. A client which downloads the games you bought or just tried. They were preventing you from installing the client again. Temporary disable any security tools installer or simply disable Windows.

Considering how many games I have purchased from them and I still have 2 game credits, this behavior of theirs is despiccable. One person tried to post the link for the GM that does work with Lion and the Moderator of Big Fish removed it and said 'It is against BFG policies'.

But there are people on BFG forums that says there is a GM that works with Lion, but I guess it is a big big secret and only for those who have an active account. BFG isn't the only provider selling games for MAC. I don't want to lose the use of the games I have purchased, but I am not putting up with this. If you find a solution, please post and let us know. My hard drive died on me 2 days before Lion release. So I backed up the entire hard drive, installed new drive and installed Lion. Today I was able to get the two games I had working WITHOUT GM.

I went to Shared folder on the backup drive and then dragged/dropped the GameFishCache in the Lion System. I was amazed, the games worked, the BFG GM came up, I hit cancel and am able to play the games. So this tells me the games are compatible. However, having to use GM to download/install the games from BFG doesn't work because GM is not compatible with Lion. What irks me is BFG has a GM that works with Lion, but will not give anyone a link to download it unless they are a subscriber. When GM became MANDATORY, I canceld the membership, however, I feel entitled to use the games I purchased over the last 2 years.

Of course the games stored on BFG under my account will not install as they are linked into GM. The older games I have the serial codes for, pre GM, and I may download them from another site and see if they can't be activated using the codes. Thanks for the input and good luck. This reminds me why I canceled the membership and it is staying canceled.
