As opposed to some of the other reviews I've seen on this product, my code worked as advertised and I knew going in that this is something that has to be renewed after a year. I am replacing Office 2007 and while this isn't a major improvement (how much can you really improve a well-established word processor, spreadsheet, etc.?) it is easier to navigate once you get used to it, and the 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage that comes with the subscription is nice. This product arrived on-time and as expected. I purchased this again for the 2nd time and added it to my existing subscription. I don't like autopay and Microsoft won't offer any other option, so it's nice to buy the key card download and get it right away. I didn't have to download the software again.

Help download flask for mac. It just added to my existing subscription. I was worried it might just reset it for a year, but it actually added a year to my existing expiration date at a better price than my Microsoft account was offering. I'm happy with the ease and having the most updated Office products available. It's worth the price and the 5 user deal is great! I've used Macs for the last 15 years or so, but I have to admit that Microsoft's suite of productivity software has always been better than anything Apple has offered.

I got Microsoft Office Home & Student 2016 for Mac to replace the Microsoft Office 2008 that I've been running on my MacBook Pros for quite some time. (What can I say?

It did what I needed it to do!) Of the four programs included with this version of Office, I will only use two of them--Word and Excel--with any regularity. PowerPoint is nice to have, I suppose, but I rarely use it. And I've been using Evernote for a few years now, so I won't be using OneNote at all. That said, Word and Excel are worth the investment all by themselves. Downloading the software was simple, although it did take quite a while--a little over an hour using my 70. I bought this for my partner.

She was using on her PC the MS Office through a work-license, retired and needed software. Bought this product. She did her first ever software install, with a little guidance, and it was very easy for her to understand and get it installed. Then walked her thru the options like auto correct and such. Test: she gets documents from other church folks, in MS format, that she needs to work on and return. She was able to open/convert a MS doc to the open office format, tweak it and save it.

Then opened it up, saved as to an MS.doc format. Emailed the MS doc to a friend who was able to open it in her MS program and work with it.

She is soooooo happy! She is looking forward to the spreadsheet and presentation app. Very disappointed in the quality of Office 2016. Microsoft clearly needed to delay the release. Outlook 2016 was a mess until a very recent patch with constant timeout errors and an inability to actually stay connected to mail servers. Startup times are slow my fairly maxed out iMac.

Outlook does not integrate with iCloud on the Mac so if you use iCloud for contact and calendar you are have to use several apps still. Word wants to open to a stupid new document type selection screen vice working like older version that just opened to a new empty document. Excel is a bright spot in the package and so far have not had any problems with.

As for themes it seems that Mac owners get Classic and Colorful only. Really want the dark theme that PC users have. Overall this is the low bar quality.

Buy this software because you have to, not because you want to. I have installed two copies of this product recently; one without a hitch in an old computer with an existing Office installation (!) and one (the latest in a new clean machine) that required a call to automated-registration hell. Seems that the new, uninstalled copy I just bought had 'been installed too many times'.

I finally got a very helpful LIVE person and the installation proceeded without a further hitch (the contact phone number is revealed by the software after you struggle a while with the installation). Kudos to the CS MS trainers. If you have not used the ribbon interface, prepare for a steep learning curve. Remember that GOOGLE is your friend (and MS help is not) when you are stymied by trying to figure out how to do something you formerly did with ease. Just a little update: Microsoft decided to reply to this review to which I have added a little response to below. Excel 2016 for mac add secondary axis.
